We use the right tools
Turn Key Auto Service continues an ongoing investment into the factory-level scan tools needed for Volvo, Toyota, Mercedes- Benz, BMW and MINI Vehicles. This separates our shop from the other independent auto repair companies and allows us to be YOUR dealership alternative.
This equipment allows us to read the exact code that may be causing the check engine light to come on in your vehicle, not the generic code that a parts store will give you. Turn Key Auto Service has made this significant investment in hardware, software and technician training needed to diagnose, trace and repair properly the newer models of vehicles.
As your dealer alternative we pride ourselves on maintaining the factory software subscriptions that allows us to offer full diagnostic troubleshooting services to repair your vehicle accurately and completely.
Warranty - For Worry Free Repairs
Rest assured that when you trust the staff at Turn Key Auto Service to repair your vehicle, you are covered by a 24month/ 24K limited warranty on new parts and labor. This warranty covers parts for manufacture defects and/or flaws and the labor to replace the part , not normal wear and tear.
Did you know?
Your car's "Check Engine Light" (CEL) can be triggered by one of over 50 causes, many of them for minor reasons.
This light can be activated by a failing oxygen sensor or air injection pump, engine vacuum leaks, the gas cap not sealing properly, and many other reasons. When the CEL comes on, one or more fault codes are stored in the car's computer with specific diagnostic procedures that we follow to determine the cause of the problem. When a CEL is scanned several code may be stored and this is where the experience of our technicians is valuable, as diagnosing the problem can be complicated. Check Engine Lights are mandated by federal emission control laws and will cause a car to fail an Emissions test even if a vehicle is running well. From a customer's point of view, the return of the CEL soon after repairs may signal a faulty repair, but from a technician's point of view, it usually means a different problem has triggered the CEL system. When this happens don't stress, just call us and we will work through the fault codes and get you back on the road.
Selling your car or Are buying a used car?
Getting a car appraisal or a buyer’s inspection at Turn Key Auto Service is quick and easy! They can be done in as little as 30 minutes for an appraisal and a couple of hours for a buyer’s inspection.
Getting your car appraised may save you time and money. You will know exactly what is going on with your vehicle and make selling it easier. Selling on your own may, or may not, net you a higher price (vehicles rarely sell for full book on a private sale), but having an currant appraisal on your vehicle will be a plus, and will protect you from being responsible if something goes wrong with the car after the sale.
Buying a car?
A Buyer’s inspection will save you money and prevent heartache by giving you a complete inspection of your potential new vehicle. Our inspection is bumper to bumper, with a written inspection detailing the condition of your prospective new vehicle. Having an inspection will make sure that you do not have unexpected repairs after you have purchased the vehicle. Most dealers and individuals will be happy to allow you to have your mechanic inspect the vehicle and if they don’t want to make this available, THIS IS A BIG RED FLAG, don’t buy from this person.
A buyer’s inspection will also give you bargaining power when negotiating a price for a vehicle; does it need front brakes in a month, a new radiator or something worse? Brakes alone could add an additional $ 500.00 or more in repair expense , having the knowledge enables you to be preparded and could get a dealer to lower the purchase price for you.
Just call today to get started, (425) 265-1111. Thanks!
